Apr 25th, 2010-Sunday-Indian Arm Paddling

Sunday morning, the forecast says it supposed to be a cloudy and sunny mixed day, strangely it was actually pouring. But I still decided to go. In Vancouver you'll never know what the forecast turns into. Luckily, when I drove to Deep Cove, rain stopped. It turned into a perfect day for paddling, except, I couldn’t find Steven and Michael anywhere. I am not going home like this!
Look around and saw three young guys unloading their boats. So went up and asked if they mind taking me together. Ha-ha, I wonder who would say no. This is a really a small world. I met one of the guys a couple of weeks ago in one of the real estate meet-ups. It is weird that I showed up in that kind of meet-ups. Well, everything has a reason.
We left the beach and headed towards Indian Arm. Can’t remember how many times I have been paddling here. Sheltered water, nice and peace scenery make it the perfect place for a day easy paddling.
Lots of sail boats are out there. The breeze was gentle but strong enough for a relaxing sail. Sun started to shine. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. One of the guys started to drink beer in his boat. Ah, damn it! I should bring my red wine with me. We went pretty slow playing with the wakes like kids. It took us 2.5 hours to get to the Twin Islands. We landed on the Jug Island, and went for a short hike. For one moment, I felt hesitate to go deep to the woods with them, but then thought hack what I am afraid of? Wannna take me? Take me then! Ha-ha..
Of course nothing unpredictable happened. Never expect making friends in this way, but really fun. The guy I met before started to persuade me to go to his meet-ups for investment in real estate, and educated me how to invest money wisely so that I can afford retiring at 45. That’s pretty attempting. I promised to go, who knows? Maybe I can be rich as the fortune teller said.
I think I was misled by someone. I wasn’t a negative person at all.
