Dec 13 2010 Mt. Seymour Snowshoeing

Dec 13, Vancouver welcomed its first snow for the winter. I thought it would be nice to go up to Mt. Seymour to try out my new snowshoes.

It's actually quite busy on the trail to First Peak. It started drizzling when we first started and then turned into a big flurry. It was white all over. Pines and cedars stick out glazing down to the valley.

My snowshoes are Yukon CHarlie 825, the grips are pretty sharp. So the uphill was not so bad. However, as the wind blows, we could only inching our way up.

There was a cute little dog, may be a poodle mix or some kind on the trail with the owner. He looked so happy to be out there. One full of winter spirit.
